Tribute to Mrs. John D. Ure
My cousin Judy told me that she recalls a time when she had been to a shower with Aunt Martha and Mom and while riding in the car Mom related that one time when she was a little girl, she was playing beauty shop with others and proceeded to take the scissors and cut off the pompadour from her father's head while he was sleeping.  He always considered her a favorite  and called her butterfly, but this time she was in a little trouble.  Mom told me on many occasions that if it had not been for her sister Martha, Easter and Christmas would have been very sparse.  Aunt Martha and Uncle Walt would always see that she was taken care of.

As you can see her family was her life.  Below is a picture of all of the brothers and sisters except Orlin who had died.
