Tribute to Mrs. John D. Ure
If you are expecting this to be a traditional or classical type of obituary you will probably be disappointed.  Those who know me, Duffy, have always known me to be unconventional walking to the beat of a different drum.  Mom was born on March 21, 1927.  I am bad at remembering birthdays and such and I attribute it to a male trait, but whenever I went to Walmart to pick up medication the birthday was needed.  Mom  was seven years after the picture of everyone at the house on South Valley in 1921 seen below.  She was the ninth  and last child.  She always liked to repeat what her father said when asked by Ida Belle.  "Orlin what are we going to do with her?"  His response was, "we will just love her."   Grandma Rose was a Guyton and mom often used that last name as a password.  She was proud of her heritage and was combination of the Rose's and the Ure's.
